I pulled the 1206 from the fall of 2012 to till the summer of 2015 when I bought the current Remedy from Hart’s Diesel to compete in the 4.1 Lim Pro Stock class. I named the tractor the REMEDY because my wife said that my dad and I were addicted to pulling and would do whatever it takes to keep the tractor on the tractor, so I said I need a Remedy to my addiction.
I continued to spend time with Dad going to pulls with him and bought my first tractor in the fall of 2012 when my good pulling friend Doug Birkholz told me of a 466 Hot Farm for sale with 1206 sheet metal. This tractor is currently owned by Tony McMullen from Illinois and is called Bad Influence.
He started to let me drive his tractor in the late 90’s and then I built a IH 856 farm stock 10mph tractor to compete on my own. I went with dad to East Central Iowa pulls all summer long, my best memories are the stories being told in the truck on the way to and from the pulls. Dad bought his first pulling tractor an Allis Chalmers D21 in the 1990’s and that is when I became addicted to pulling. He started taking me to tractor pulls when I was young. For over 30 years, the Nebraska Bush Pullers have been bringing you the best regional tractor-pulling competition. I grew up on a farm in Victor, Iowa and has been involved in tractor pulling all of my life.
